Travelling to the woods - easy directions to find the trail

Met by the Green Man at the entrance, as you travel deeper into the woods you will find some very talkative trees with news and views on the woodland and its management. Even the Spring of Angling Spring Wood has something to say.

Eleven skilled actors have contributed to the trail. Familiar voices include film actor Toby Jones, the voice of Dobby the House Elf in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Toby's father, Freddie Jones, a character actor with an illustrious career in film, theatre and TV, (currently to be seen on the small screen as Sandy Jones in Emmerdale) is the Oak.

For families and walkers:

Download the audio tracks to your MP3 player. Once you are out in the woods, specially carved wooden posts featuring local wildlife indicate each Listening Point.

The trail takes about 1 ½ to 2 hours to complete. Wander through the woods to find the 10 carved posts, these correspond to the pictures on the map and your audio tracks.
